Alright, so on Saturday, (three days ago) I got my collar bones pierced, as a surface piercing, it's seaming to bruise extremely bad, &I'm starting to get worried, although, it may just be part of the healing process, it doesn't hurt at all, so I don't think that it is infected, but does anyone know anything about it?
Is it normal for it to bruise?
Is it infected?

Here's a picture if you'd like to look to get a better idea;

Oh, &PS, I don't want your ridiculous critizims, they're only annoying, &it won't change my point of views at all, so don't even try it,
if it honestly makes you feel better about yourself to try &make me feel like ****, then go ahead, because it won't make a difference. :D :D

First off, I congratulate you on your courage and extreme uniqueness. However, you mention that the bruising is "extremely bad" and this does not sound pleasant. However, you must be prepared to be exposed to some sort of bruising because in essence, your body has been violated (for cosmetic purposes). I do not think this is abnormal, just think, if somebody gets cosmetic surgery, there is heavy bruising afterwards. Therefore, your case is normal. If it does remain uncomfortable, perhaps you should take it out. If it feels better, then more power to you!

considering how close that piercing is to your jugular veins, that much bruising would have scared me too...but, it looks to me like simple surface bruising, if you at any point get swelling with it, get to a doctor PDQ. For now, you can minimize further bruising by applying ice for twenty minutes every hour or so.

wow, nice percing
Nasty bruise (not intended to be offensive)
okies... well
you're piercing your skin
and what a bruise is
is i white blood cells repairing
damaged skin cells causing your
SKIN to change pigmentation
it's nothin' bad
your body's just healing it as fast as it can
if it gets worse in a week
go see a doc.

It's not infected
& it's normal for it to bruise

If you have any concerns, go back to your piercer and let them look at it.

it doesn't sound infected though.
