Am i able to do all my prerequisites in community college for two years, and then later on apply for nursing school at a university to start studying the nursing courses? Will it be more competitve and difficult to get into nursing school in the university, compared to the nursing program in the community college?

University programs are nearly always more competitive than community college programs.

Theoretically, it's possible to complete prerequisites at a CC and then transfer straight into a program, but in real life, not all credits transfer over. It can be a tricky process, so you may have to transfer to the university and take a semester or two of courses there before entering a program like nursing.
