God. He had a book made....probably heard of it: The Holy Bible. Made several historic Hollywood films from it, too.
God to this day has been known to raise people who have hit total rock bottom, back into lives of clean decency--and he's saved countless souls of people from eternal descent into Hell. And at this second, God is still at work, saving someone on this planet.
