First off, stop by the undertaker and get measure for a casket, just in case...you don't want to end up like my cousin Jesse James, buried in a coffin a full foot short than he was.

Second, head down to the saloon and have the bartender call for the Doc down the street...have lots of grain whiskey close by because you're in for a ton of pain.

Third, have the Doc wash his hands and the instruments in the grain whiskey...have him begin to dig the bullet out. Make sure that you hold a bullet in your mouth (round pointed outward) to bite down on so you don't bite your tongue off.

Fourth, once the wound is healed, practice lifting your gun repeatedly to shoulder level.

Fifth, go down into town and find the yellow, lilly-livered, one-eyed, sheep schtupping, ugly son of a ***** who shot you in the first place and relieve his shoulders the weight of his head.

That'd be I reckon what I'd do.
