Most hospitals now a days will let you hold the baby while they cut out the placenta. They will recommend feeding the baby with breast milk if you are going to breastfeed the baby. The other thing is the baby stays in the room with you unless emergancy medical attention for you or baby is needed. Your water may or may not break but contractions will be at least five minutes apart. The doctor may break your water and tell or assist you in pushing if the baby is in the right position.

Since you are 33 weeks pregnant i suggest you go and get pre-registered where you will be having your baby so when you start your Labor you want need to stop at the front desk . They will already have your infor,They will get you ready for delivery and yes you can hold your baby right away after he is cleaned up. Don't be afraid you will be fine Good Luck

There is nothing to be scared of . Your body will let you know when you are ready to go into labor. Or if not the doctors will induce you. The nurses and doctor will walk you through everything. And most of the time they do give the baby to you right away. Sometime they dont due to fluid getting into their lungs. But you have nothing to worry about the more worried you are the more stress is leading to you baby. Good luck

Don't worry - I know I was very much the same through my first pregnancy - trust us mums it will be the best things ever when they let you hold you little bambino. The hospiatl are professional and they will guide you through every step of the way they understand that it is scary for first time mums - if you weren't frightened you wouldn't be human - Congrats you and baby will be fine snuggling up together after the birth they usually let you hold the baby as soon as possible. Its your choice. Fantastic feeling though.

When you get to the hospital they will check you to see how much you have dilated and effaced.
If you want to hold your baby right away, let them know. if there are no complications, then there wont be a problem.

If their is nothing wrong with the baby they will put hom on your chest right away. When I had my baby she had swallowed some liquid so they didn't give her to me right away. You will be just fine. The baby will stay with you for your whole stay, unless you ask them to take the baby for a little so you can rest. Good Luck

I dropped 2 weeks in the past, am 38.5 weeks pregnant, and am nevertheless in straightforward terms 1cm dilated. yet, it incredibly is an exciting element meaning your physique is preparing for the toddler to reach interior the subsequent month or 2! :)

It really depends on the hospital. With my son, they let me hold him for a little while, then they took him to the nursery to be tested and checked for about 2 hours. With my daughter, I was able to keep her for about 3 hours, then when it was time to move to my room, we dropped her off at the nursery to be tested and checked.
