Who else but our government. They were warned, but they didn't follow up. I'm watching all those 9/11 shows on how the terrorists slipped through the CIA and the FBI's fingers, and how the CIA and the FBI didn't cooperate with one another. They who checked the terrorists in didn't pay close attention to noticing the fake passports. They let them go on the plane with box cutters even after making the buzzer go off. (Air Port security is/ was lousy) It goes on and on. It wasn't the people who aren't in the Governments fault, it's the ones who were hired to protect us. They failed their jobs, and they let us down! Who can we trust?

PLEASE READ !!
I've watched many videos on youtube where the planes collided in these so called "foritified, strong which no plane can crash into this building wall" and i've noticed how over-dramatic the plane caused certain explosions upon inpact. Was there explosives in the WTC already to assist the building to collapse and to make sure its brought down???
I think the truth is that 9/11 was carried out by elements of our own government...not al-Qa'ida terroists.. cia/government payed these guys' familys and relations an ammount of money and freedom. the media's "War on Terror" is just a cover for an attack on the sovereignty of western nations..especially the U.S.
trust me belive nothing. The world is turning fascist and were losing our liberty.
AND YES YOU !! WE AS A NATION WILL DEFEND OUR SELVES IN WHAT WE SHOULD BELIVE AND NO I'M NOT STICKING UP FOR BIN LADEN EVEN THOUGH HE IS ABSALOUTLY SOILING HIMSELF ON THE FACT SAS AND AMERICAN SEALS ARE HUNTING HIM DOWN.
BELIVE WHATS RIGHT. NOT WHAT THE MEDIA SAY!

Well, of course radical extremists did the actual attack, but some blame should go to leaders for not using the intelligence they gathered to thwart the terrorists.
Kinda like getting hit by a car because you're standing in the road. Sure, it's the car's fault...but if the terrorists driving said they were going to drive down the road and you went out and stood there anyway, you didn't do everything you could to avoid it.

Today. Six years later. SIX YEARS! Are you safer? Is your life better? Your neighbor's? Your kids? Have you acclimated to permanent Code Orange and willingly handed over your civil liberties, accepted endless war in your name and 400,000 homeless veterans on the streets of America, agreed with your representatives' capitulation to corporate control of your life, gotten past that nagging voice that repeats "all the victims deserve justice", forgotten those pictures of Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo, normalized the outright lies and utter lack of accountability for anyone in government office ... ?

I blame the big group of random ******* who decided to be "bullies" to us.
Also, I blame the government for doing whatever they did to piss those people off.
I'm pretty sure my fellow American citizens and I never got to vote on anything that would harm them yet they still took their anger out on us.

I blame Muslim Extremists.
It wasn't the first time they tried to take down the towers.
A lot of people don't know that.
It's amazing that a lot of people don't know that but I see it and hear it at least once a week.

i hate to say it, but yes. not the nation as a whole, but the airlines. there should be an armed policeman on every flight, the cockpit should have been locked, and security should have been tighter.
