What the flipp????
even if they used their cell phones to call 911 what do you think could be done? At best they could have been blown out of the sky by a fighter plane, which would have been the case if they had stayed on course to the Capitol...The President is to be protected at all cost...
I think it was a very sad but heroic effort of them to crash the plane such as they did..
There were phone calls made to loved ones...Read the book "Let's Roll"
What does going to catholic school have to do with this?

You REALLY need to learn how to spell, punctuate and capitalize. At the least, spell correctly! Everything is so hard to read. And if you went to "cathlic scholl," don't you think you would know how to spell it correctly? It's Catholic School!
Anyway... If I was on the flight... I would have done anything I could to stop the HIJACKERS. Everyone on the planes thought that they were going to land safely, though. That's kinda the reason that they didn't want to do anything. They were more worried about bombs that crashing, I believe.

For an honest answer, we have to look at what they would have known on the plane. The fact is, there had not been cases of suicidal hijackers before 9/11. Hostages were always used as negotiating tools. So, those sitting on the plane would have had little reason to think the plane wasn't going to land, and the hijackers negotiate their release.
So, I probably would have sat there, tried not to make myself a target for the hijackers to make an example of, and hoped it ended soon. And I would have ended up dead. Flight 93 got the new information, that hijackers were suicidal, and used that new information to take a different course of action.

It's easy to say what they should or shouldn't have done. I imagine they were in such shock that they couldn't do anything. You never know what you'd do until you're in such a situation. Fear paralyzes you.

i dunno about you, but i would have rushed the hijackers and took them down. i dont know why people dont mob-rush hijackers. there would have been a way to avert the trajedy. why wont people stick up for themselves? this may be my Montana vigalante side coming out but if there is somthing i can do to stop somthing like that i will.

I would have turned on my cell and called one person. She know who she is, then I would have died fighting.
