So I took off running, me in my heels and crazy muu muu. I was so embarrassed, I ducked down on the side of another car and watch that mean-a$sed owner come over there looking all around to see who was messin with his car. I was not messing with it, ******, I just accidentally bumped it. What would y'all have done???

I would have stayed and told the owner I bumped his car when walking by. Sorry about the whole thing and left. Running away like U did he now thinks some one was trying to do something with or to his car.

If the owners of the vehicle are out of town, the police will not be able to do anything. They can't shut the alarm off. Just wait for the battery to run down.

Bumped with your vehicle ? Shopping cart ?? If it was with your vehicle, you could be charged with a HIT AND RUN if anyone had your licence plate. But I doubt you were in your vehicle.
I doubt there is any harm in what you did, but it would have been nice if you waited and explained to the owner what happened and hope and pray he (or she) is not a lunatic :)

i would of continued my normal business if that man/women wanted to take something up with me i would just state oops i bumped into your car my bad! have a nice day!
if he was going to be a DIC about it then i would have said then change your senstivity level i'm not walking on egg shells next to my car get a life!

Bumped it with what- your car, your hip, a shopping cart? I guess it would have depended on any damange to the vehicle, and I may have left like you did if there was no damage, or would have stayed to trade ins info if there was damage.
