My cousin was telling me that she calls 1800-GRAB-DUI every time someone drives like a moron where she lives. You don't necessarily need a plate # but it's helpful, especially on highways and in larger cities.
Let me tell you, I never knew you could do anything about the people who are driving dangerously other than gripe. Since then I've called several times, not just because I got cut off or something so simple, but for people doing things that will likely cause an accident.
Today, for example, we were in a construction zone on the highway. This jack@ss decides he can't wait through traffic so he's zipping through cars at a high rate of speed- mind you, we're all STOPPED completely. He actually drove around the orange barrels and was driving through the construction area to pass 10 or 15 cars. Either this moron was drunk or he was in one heck of a hurry. Either way, no excuse.
So, did you even know you could call and report these idiots & have you ever used the number?

Sorry, that number is basically the state Highway Patrol for Ohio. You could call 911 but I did that once when a guy was slamming on his brakes trying to get people behind him to run into him & got transferred 4 times.
Seriously, the city I live in has the largest amount of idiot drivers per capita that I've ever seen. They cause accidents all the time because of their foolish driving. Nothing like a little preventative action.

Here to help: drunk driving kills TONS of people. The fact that you have no morals and would allow them to kill someone doesn't mean I should devalue human life.
The examples I've given are valid causes for concern. Someone WILL get hurt because of these idiots. If we can stop them before it gets to that point, I think we SHOULD!

I know everyone has ADD these days, but read the entire question before making statements that make you seem uneducated or insensitive.

sounds like a lot of false reporting,i hope no one really needs a cop when she does this. i have used it one time and the guy was drunk or high, being an idiot is not a good reason to call.

added. i'm in ohio and i'll tell you the truth, the roads are full of idiots doing a whole lot of other things besides driving. drunk driving i don't agree with, but not everyone driving recklessly is drunk. do you realize tired drivers actully are just as dangerous as drunk drivers? I have been a lot of pplaces in this country and have seen a lot of bad habits on the roads.
cell phones(i hope you puill over while you are reporting "idiots")
texting
eating
putting on make up
shaving
reading maps or papers
tailgating
weaving in and out of traffic
feel free to e-mail if you need some more good advice

Y'all should know that in CA it's 800-call-chp.

But unless you're in danger of being creamed, leave the poor people alone. CHP have way too much time on their hands and bust anybody for any little thing and that ain't right. Which way to Mayberry because I'd rather live there.

You can report unsafe driving in any state by calling 911.
