Are you flying your flag? I am. I find it scary that in the weeks following 9/11, stores were running out of American flags, as everyone had one hanging on their house, car, or apartment balcony! Now, you hardly see any on this day. It's shameful. I am also wearing red, white, and blue today. Later tonight, I will light a hoodoo candle and ask that the dead rest in peace.

I aint doing any of that...but I am fighting in the war that most of the people say is wrong. Get over it people, we are over there so you dont have to. Thats the best way I can find to honor them, fight for their vengeance.

"I actual believe honoring the ineffective and all the heroes, yet they seem to take it to an entire new point." --i could no longer believe you extra. yet you already know there is excellent-ubber-patriots available now that Bush effectively at a loss for words the 9/11 attack with justification for invading Iraq, so there are a lot of persons in touch with the media who've a consultant-conflict time table that demands extra worry mongering than could be the case had the U.S. no longer began a conflict in Iraq. So, no, i do no longer think of the "insurance" of the 9/11 5-12 months anniversary would be something like "appropriate." it is going to likely be sensationalized, overly-dramatized, politicized to the quantity of a consultant-conflict purpose, and extra reason for a deep branch between liberals and conservatives.

How come you didn't fly a flag BEFORE 9/11? Where was your patriotism then? Not being mean, I just always wonder about the sincerity of people who NOW fly flags and stuff?

I am doing four things:
Being a proud American
Supporting our military in Iraq and Afghanistan
Saying a prayer for those who have lost their lives fighting the terrorists and those victims of the deadly 9/11 attacks.
Supporting President Bush's goals in fighting the enemy
How about you?
Thanks,

I wore black today.
My father and brother wear working in DC that day, in one of the gov't buildings. When the plane first hit the Pentagon my father thought DC was being bombed and nobody knew what was going on or when the attacks would stop. Today I'm grateful to have them home.
