People are born to hate what they do not know or understand. But to say people hate Moslem's is a bit strong, They hate the ones that show out spoken hat for us would be far more correct. Then there are those that hate every one that ain't one of them. You fine these in every race, or Religious group; and they do give the over all group a bad name. People like these can not looked on as any kind of norm.

i find most 'moslems' are rude. i do know quite a few, my daughters school has quite a lot in attendance. i just got back from the supermarket and i witnessed 3 able bodied Muslims taking up 3 disabled parking bays. they have no respect. sorry, its an observation! and to be fair the majority bring it on themselves what with segregating themselves and defending the act of terrorism, in some cases.
btw, i'm not a racist.

Some people may hate muslims. Some people may hate Jews, Catholics etc. You cannot stop people having emotions. It is not in the nature of man to be passive regardless as to what people try to educate into people. Only a child is born pure, all the bigotry and hatred is burnt into them as they grow. It would be a great world without hatred and any religion. Love and sport bring people together.

not that everybody is a bigot but it is true that ppl tend to make assumptions based on categories. if ppl have had bad experiences w/ muslim ppl, they tend to have more animosity towards them. the same goes for any religion/race/ethnicity/gender etc...
its like how a lot of ppl hate christians, the christians who get a lot of press are the psychopaths who scream "I'M A GOD WARRIOR!" on national tv, or blow up abortion centers because they're "baby killers" even tho in doing so, the bomber is kiling babies as well.
the muslims that get the most press are the extremists who make video-tapes and fly airplanes into buildings. its sad but its true, the media knows that ppl will listen to those stories more than a new mosque opening or good muslim students doing something.

It is not a matter of hating, its a matter of being told that only they are right, it encourages conflict.
All religeous zealots are like this. It is best to ignore them or tell them to take their beliefs and practice where it doesn't offend others. Everyone has a right to their own beliefs and no other group has the right to inflict their views on another.
Religion as a concept creates excessive passion among believers, that it offends or antagonises those who disagree does not bother the zealot.

do you mean mUslims? If you know them so well why cant you spell muslims correctly? They probably hate them for the same reason people hate christians without even knowing any. People tend to dislike others who dont agree with their views.

Why do all "moslems" think that everybody hates them?
I think all British hate those that would seek to destroy the very country that gives them their freedoms i.e. terrorist fundamentalist nutcases, irrespective of their religion.

Not all Muslims do this but its the whole strapping the bomb on and blowing people up or crashing planes into buildings thing that has me concerned.
There is a large number of Muslims who want to kill Americans, Christians, Jews and anyone not their sect of Muslim.

Because they believe all the media propaganda and hating someone is much easier than trying to understand them. Its easy to say i hate you. Much harder to say i want to get to know you.
EDIT
Jon Delose, I know plenty of "white Christians" my mother for one. I am white and a Muslim. I neither hate white people nor Christians. But hey stereotypes never get old do they?
