Set your vehicle on fire. Call your insurance company and lie to them about how the fire started. When your insurance pays off, you'll be able to buy another vehicle. It's the PERFECT scam.

You probably don't have an analog speedometer. It sounds like a computer problem or a sensor problem. Get it to a shop for a diagnostic if you don't know anything about cars. Good luck!

Most likely there is a problem with the output speed sensor in the transmission. A computer scan for codes and output readings will confirm this! Any qualified shop can scan for codes!

Really need more information....is the check engine light on? What kind of mileage on the odometer? Will the vehicle idle in park? Is the vehicle overheating or have you overheated it in the past?
Please advise.
