"EMO" mean? I have heard so many people ask are you emo or refer to someone as being emo. What does it actually mean though?

people refer to emotional people as "emo", but it's not that they're any more emotional than us, it's just that they show it more than we do i guess?
they pity themselves and convince themselves that their lives suck and aren't worth living

Emo "emotional" is the stereotypical slang used for labeling someone who is considered depressed or mentally unlike other teens. Usually described with long black hair that covers face, black nail polish. Also emo's enjoy to cut themselves as to relieve pain. Also emo's think that there life sucks. So basically its someone who is either close to suicide or just really really depressed or sad. Also concealed at times.

Emotive Hardcore....Don't pay any attention to the stereotypical comments on here...it's all just ridiculous and so is labelling people as EMO....and NO, those considered by others to be emo do not always dress in black, hate themselves or cut themselves. They are just normal teenagers and just like any phase this will pass. Most of the hippies of the 60's grew up to be successful well-adjusted people.

Your correct, they dont burn without end. When it says within the Bible that anything burns without end it manner untill its all wiped out, however the influences of the fireplace are without end. Or unquenchable fireplace, which means it cant be placed out till its finnished doing its process. It says that sodom and Gomorrah burnt without end, however they aren't burning at present. Emo is short for emotional.People who are usually depressed etc. call themselves that.

EMOtional? i think it's the type of music and the way people dress, like one-side hair for guys, tight-fitting pants, black everything from shirts to nail polish (even the guys), Chuck Taylor sneakers, sling bags with lots of the round pins. I'm really not feeling this kind of style. They look dirty and, excuse me for this term, uncivilized.
