Your logic and grammar are somewhat flawed. They can come over here now and attack us. We have an unguarded souther boarder kept open by politicians looking to buy votes of people illegally here. Also they can not cause more 9/11 as those buildings are gone. You are however correct in thinking that if we leave Iraq and Afghanistan the probability of attack goes up dramatically. Most people in this country don't realize that we are fighting a religious war against the evils of islam. People in the US seem to think that if we leave then all the hate that islam holds for us (people who are not islamic) will some how go away. They fail to relies that this a conflict which we will either be victors against or perish to, but it can not be ignored.

i slept all morning .It was my day off.I try not to replay that scene over and over in my mind of the planes and etc.I pray the night before but as of the day I try to sleep past the morning and not rehash the past .because all it does it make people more angry and really depressed. An I just can't get depressed no more about that day . I just pray that the family's can heal each day but thge pain hits them even harder each public rememberance each year. An when you don't have the right truth or answers from your government or president you have unanswered questions. You just get lies and the run around you will definitely become heart hardened and angry. Because the power that be are lying to about every thing and nothing is getting better or solved with this incident. It affected my life for a 2 year period of me being nervous to go out of my house go to shopping malls etc. I tell you this it made me awarre that this world has never been safe as far back as me being a kid growing up in the Iran Contra Affair, the plan hi jacking incidents etc. I don't suffer from the Mayberry Syndrome that people on this planet suffer from .They think this place is a safe haven its not and never has been. But I've gotten pass that 2y ear fear after that incident and just kept on living my life attending church and getting close in my relationship with Jesus Christ and getting saved. I can't let fear dictate my life and GOD didn't intend for me or others to live that way .Just submit to him and let him run your life and things will go as planned for you and other. Love ya and have a safe and 9/11 day and reconnect with friends and family and tell them I LOVE YOU EVERYDAY..JUST NOT on 9/11 DAY

Fortunately, 9/11 didn't have a direct impact on my life in the sense that I didn't have any family members or friends in the NYC or DC area, but I knew people who did have families there and I knew how worried and scared they were for their families. It did impact my life in the sense in the sense that I realized for the first time that day that this was not as safe of a nation as everyone had thought it was.

I simply sat and alternately prayed and cried.....just as it happened. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was the single most horrifying/ heartbreaking day of my life. As an Army Brat, I understand freedom ain't free, and there are people who despise America just because.... I am not going to get into the political side of this tragedy. I am focused on loving my fellow American, finding good in the human spirit...no matter what religion, color, or political affiliation. I am simply more appreciative of my freedoms, and let my vote do the talking.

Kind of. I prayed for the families. And I thought a lot, because think about how horrifying it would be to be in the towers, and you knew you were going to die, and you couldn't do anything about it. And how the terrorists think its okay to do, and how they are so messed up that they would give their own lives just to kill innocent people. And by killing people, what do they think that is going to do? Just scare us and make us stronger. And make sure nothing like this will happen again.

I was coming out the subway in Manhattan 5 stops away and I saw everybody looking down 5th ave ....at the gaping burning holes in the twin towers. From office windows 12 stories up we watched in horrid disbelief as they fell. I thought for sure all of us on that tiny island was goners.
That's why I never complain anymore.

It was affected every American's life. The government did things that weren't nessecary like sending troops to Iraq to get killed and a lot of peoples hearts were broken. Luckily, not mine.

I watched the memorials on TV. I will always find this day to be incredibly sad for our country as well as the world. It has changed the way I view the world. I'm much more cautious.
