I will give you a value for the coins in grade very good which is low and means the coins has lots of wear to grade extra fine where all the hair lines are strong and the ear is bold.Eagle feathers show well but a slight wear on breast feathers. There are grades in between but this will give you a high and low. Of course if the coins re in mint state they have a higher value. 1880-O $13.50-$16.25, 1882-O the same, 1878-O does not exist none were minted in New Orleans that year, 1886-O same as others, 1887-O same as others, 1888-O same as others, 1890-O $14.75-$16.75, and the 1901-O $14.50-$17.00. The coins are worth more if they are mint state, that is having no wear. Unless you need the money. I would wait to sell them, as time goes by their value will go up. One thing about the 1880's date is they may have gone out west, where they could have bought a bottle of Red Eye whiskey. Most easteners disliked silver dollars and they just sat in banks or the mints in $1,000.00 bags. Values shown are about what a dealer would pay.
