Dental schools (and all professional schools for that matter) accept people based on the impressions they make to the admissions committee.

How you present yourself in WRITTEN TEXT gives people a strong impression. This means you MUST pay attention to your spelling and grammar. Dental school applications have essay portions. If you can't write well and express yourself articulately, you aren't going to look like a good future dentist.

You need to break your habit of typing in r3t@rD Sp33k. It's not cute. It's not funny. You just look silly.

You enter dental school after finishing college. So you do 4 years. You can major in anything, but you have to take the following courses:
1 year general chemistry with lab
1 year organic chemistry with lab
1 year introductory biology with lab
1 year general physics with lab
1 year English (composition and literature)

Some schools require calculus and public speaking.

Do well in your courses, get a GPA above 3.5. Do well on the DAT (the dental school entrance exam). Get letters of recommendation from some professors. Apply and hope you get in.
