What today is and many have been affected by it....I am a Canadian Firefighter...Why you ask am I putting this in this forum...because I frequent it......

I have been watching the 9/11 programs on the History Channel today. Even after 6 years to relive all those horrible scenes it still brings tears to my eyes. We as a Nation have become stronger but yet we are also still vunerable. There has been a price to pay for our freedom and I hope that noone will take that for granted. God bless all our troops that fight so bravely to keep America free and strong. God bless all the firefighters that gave their life that terrible Sept day when they so bravely tried to save our citizens from certain death. There were a lot of heroes that day and for many days after. They walk among us even now. Blessings to all...

I dont think "beautifulirishgirl" was trying to be funny,after all she ended her statement with "lets not forget the soldiers" which seems very patriotic.She wasnt making fun.
I didnt know that Canadians (or any other country) felt for our hardships,because I've only heard people from other countries say things like "Oh well,atleast it wasnt us" and it like thanks for careing for your fellow man.

im wondering way all flags are not at half staff today?
im glad a state somewhere has them flying half staff, but it should be a multi national thing not just what ever state a governor says. its a shame
