Well. I saw this on a firework - "Light blue paper and retire immediately".
I wish.

Good heavens even as a six year old lighting fires on the site of a bombed house I knew how not to deal with matches. And also how to brbeak the safety rules but reduce the risk.
Happy days. I'm horrified when I think opf some of the things we did. Not mindless vandalism but climbing trees and walls. Cycling on top of walls two bricks thick etc.

It's amazing how easy it is to "strike" a match. Little darlings don't know the dangers, and even if they do, they don't know how to handle them. Of course, the reason they put that on matches is because some barrister made a million in a law-suit...

Some of them are. No I haven't read that, its a good one. Some of the kids around where I live are well worth keeping away from.

matches are dangerous because little children can light themselves (or each other) on fire. I can't believe you are actually asking this.

lol....I doubt they were talking about children..I think it ought to say "Keep these matches away from children"...Because "keep away from children" can be misconstrued by the less grammatically able, as meaning that one ought to distance oneself from little humans...
