Never thought of it, but I guess it's possible, but not very likely. Anyone wanting to do this would have had to make plans - stash away some money, prepare some fake ID's and a passport, etc. Since no one knew that 9/11 was going to be the kind of day that it turned out to be, I doubt anyone planned to go into hiding because of it.

Doubtful, very doubtful. Doing so would require a LOT of cold composure, and if you'd ever been in a disaster or crisis situation, you'd understand the degree thereof required. It would have had to have been an action the individual had planned-on in any case, and then taken advantage of having survived a very chaotic unplanned situation and put the plan into motion. To do such a thing without some prior planning and preparation would almost guarantee discovery. The short-form answer is no.

Well there is always a possiblity but... I don't think so everyone was so charred up it's unlikely. Do I think someone would have done that yeah people are so annoying just because something unfortunate happens doesn't mean your different from the rest we're all the same live your life like everyone else you'll learn to move on.

No. But there have been cases of folks "inventing" victims to collect from the victims' funds and various charities. They had to revise the list of those who perished and remove the name of one lady who never existed. Her "fiance" invented her and almost got away with fraud against the government.
