Vy = 1800 * sin(78.5 deg)
t = 2Vy/g = 375.97 s = 375.97/60 min.
Vx = 1800 * cos(78.5 deg)
Hor. range = Vx*t = 140918 m = 140.918 km

Yes it's a high velocity for guns, but some real nasties showed up in WW1 and WW2 getting up to 1600 m/s or so. Quite possibly modern weapons can do at least that.

1880 m/s is kind of tough to achive for a shell
