To be honest, I was having morning sickness because I was pregnant with my daughter Olivia, I was laying in bed and I seen the 2nd plane attack. I was floored and very sad about the situation.

I was getting ready to go to the gym. I remember that I turned on the tv, altho I normally wouldn't have. When I saw it, I wasn't sure what it was all about--I wasn't sure if I was looking at something that had happened long ago, or if it was a scene in a movie... Then I wasn't sure if I should go to the gym, but I did. All the people there were quiet and serene, and the tv's were all tuned to news channels, and turned all the way up. It was an insecure, strange, scary time for a while there.

I was getting ready for work and made some joke about that a little Cessna had clipped the tower. She said "NOT FUNNY, TURN ON THE NEWS!" I had to go to work and the dining room was so silent, nobody talked, just stared at the TV. We were all in shock.

Watching people jumping out of burning bridges, thinking to myself how surreal this all is...and then I called my brother to wish him a happy birthday (which reminds me, I need to call my brother today and wish him a happy birthday). I still can't believe this happened.
