This DOES update "old news" and everyone who cares enough to pay ANY attention at all to what is IN the news must know something about it.
Those who choose to ignore it do so at the peril of themselves and the Nation.
THEY are the problem.
If they can"t see the difference between this issue and "pre-war" claims they confuse it with, they are just too stupid to recognize the truck that has left the highway and is headed directly at them until it is too late to dodge it.

Don't you know they get their funds mainly from the U.S. The whole mess has been propagated by our own Government for no other reason, but to further subjugate our own people and to take away any focus from the garbage that is going on here at home. Mark my words it will backfire all these games that our government plays on other countries and they will end up getting a lot of our own people killed because of it.

Who is ignorant of Iran? I have never heard anyone say that Iran was not a threat.
Just because people disagree with you about how to handle Iran does not mean that people aren't aware of Iran.

Didn't we cover this ground before--like last MONTH?
Let me guess: We have ABSOLUTE PROOF that Iran is arming the Taliban, right?
(Nope. But that's okay: WE DON'T *NEED* PROOF.)
So my question is this: What would Iran GAIN by arming the Taliban--a group who is getting the majority of its arms through sales of opium crops from AFGHANISTAN?
A group of fanatics which the Iranian government sees as a THREAT to its own region of power?

Basic reading skills and not being prepared to follow Israeli propaganda like it's scripture. Some of us will not be lied to into a new unprovoked war of aggression.
Form your article:
Iran supported Afghan groups fighting the Taliban in the 1990s and played a crucial role in helping to topple the Taliban's Sunni government, ousted by the 2001 U.S.-led invasion, by supporting their Mujahideen foes.
The Shiite Islamic Republic has repeatedly in the past denied accusations by U.S. officials that it is arming the resurgent Taliban, who are largely active in southern and eastern areas close to the border with Pakistan.
The Taliban, like the Iranian government, have rejected U.S. reports that they are acquiring Iranian arms, and Afghan President Hamid Karzai has hailed relations with Iran as good.

Liberals ignore this part of the equation. They will only attack after the fact, and will never offer a plan to prevent Iran from doing the same with Nukes. It's as if it's Bush's fault that Iran is about to have them.
Look at all the thumbs down. Just as I said. They will say things like we need to pull out. Period. No consequences. OR, say we already blew it. No chance to fix it, so let's give up, and then they get to play the blame game. Just once I'd like to hear the Liberal plan for Iran that does not include allowing them the freedom to have nuclear weapons. That's not an option for a rogue nation that makes statements about destroying other countries (Israel).

Has anyone noticed that Iran doesn't have nor are they planning to build or buy a light water reactor in which to generate electricity?
The French offered to GIVE them one and they said: "No we want a heavy water reactor" You know, the kind you can use to make weapons.

Gee, didn't we arm their enemies (i.e. Iraq) ? Not to mention the plethora of other arms deals, some very shady, that we make globally...

I realize the threat . . . and eventually we will bomb all relevant targets in Iran . . . I just pray it's not under this administration. Please note, I did not say Republican. I do not question the competence of all Republicans . . . just two or three . . . unfortunately they are in charge.
