I was 21 when I got married. I wasn't sure if I would ever find anyone with the way my life was going so, I am happy to be married and have a companion. When someone gets married depends on the kind of person they are, but getting married before 17-18 may not be a good idea.

I was 24 and my husband was 22. I think it was the right age for us. Yes, I am glad we got married at the ages we did - in fact, if we could have married younger, that would have been good too. But we each had to finish college first. I don't regret getting married when I did - I love my husband very much!

I never want to get married! Then again maybe in a few years I'll have a different opinion. I think in my parents generation things were different. They were married at 22. There was more pressure on people to get married in the past but it's acceptable now to remain unmarried for life, o'r perhaps get married at an older age.

I think it really depends on the person and how mature they are. I got married at 27 and do not regret my decision at all. I had my younger 20's to party it up and by the end of my 20's (I am now 30), I knew I wanted to start settling down and was fortunate enough to find the man I knew I could do that with. I love waking up to his face every morning. It is such a comforting feeling.

I got married at the age of 19. In my opinion, the best age to get married at is around 30 .. by that time, you've had your fair share of 'fun', you know who you are and what you want in life ... and you know how to obtain most of what you need, to feel emotionally healthy. A person has also usually completed their education by then, and therefore, more financially stable.

I was 21 when I got married the first time and 33 when I got married the second time. You have to go by when it feels right to you to get married.

i think 30 and up is a good age to get married, you know who you really are and what you want a little better i think. i am not married (yet). most people prob get married in their early to mid 20's, that may have something to do with the high divorce rate.
