I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida

Contact your provider by using the toll-free number on the back of your medical id card.

Most types are covered, providing you meet the requirements and pay the co-pays. Some types are NOT covered however, and that is specific to region, plan, etc.

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield also..not Florida though..but mine does cover it.

I used to have that insurance co. and it really depends on what plan you're covered under. The only thing is, there's usually a deductible that needs to be met, and depending on the birth control that you're perscribed to it may cost less than your deductible. It's just like any other perscription though, just check what your perscription coverages are.

not usually. they may sometimes cover it if it is prescribed by an MD for medical reasons other than contraception, but ususally is not a covered expense/prescription.

My HMO covers it here in California.
