She looked drugged out, and I suspect her drug problems are not over with yet.

First of all, I'm no fan of Britney, never have been.
But I didn't think her performance was really that bad at all.
And as far as her weight goes.. whaaa???
She may not look like she did before, but I thought she had a very attractive body.. Those are the comments I truly don't understand. I keep looking at the video and wondering "where's the fat everyone's talking about?"
I think the comments by Sara Silverman were disgusting, and I wish she was the one getting the bad press.
Come on, Britney's been through hell, and she's been suicidal, and even if she hadn't been her performance was wobbley, but it was NOT that bad. No wonder so many performers have addiction problems, who could withstand that kind of scrutiny and cruelty?
And I don't even like the girl

It wasn't wonderful but it wasn't that bad either. People just like to hate. Give the girl a break! Britney looked a little nervous and she was very aware that people are always watching her every step.
She is a mum of two for crying out loud and most mother's would kill to have a body like that, plus lets not forget, she is not a teenage girl anymore.
And ok - she mimed - and so have many of the greats. If you had not done your regular job for a while you might be a bit rusty too.

On a performance level it was by far her worst work. However, the comments on her weight (she looked like an average person) and the comments about her children (the cutest mistakes you'll ever see) were highly inappropriate and rude.
Britney does have some problems and needs to get help, but as we have seen she won't...

Her performance was more SAD than bad. She just had no energy or dynamism at all. She looked sort of like she was in a trance. The dancers had to help her up a stair or two. I felt bad for her.

I've been at preschool concerts where the kids were better prepared to perform their parts then she was. Definitely not the way to start what was a decent show (parts of it that is).
