There is a terrible drought in parts of the southern states. Our friends in Tennessee who run a ranch and farm have no water for the cattle. The lakes, ponds, and streams have all dried up. They are going to have to sell their cattle early. No food crops will be coming out of that area this year.
Many of the farm homes have wells that are now dried up. They are buying bottled water and bathing in the creeks that do have a little water left in them.
Churchs are going to larger cities and bringing back water for the farm people.
It is a terrible situation.
There are other southern states that are affected too such as Alabama. We have friends living there and they cannot water their lawns, wash their cars, and etc. Crops have dried up. No food from that area either.
California has been hit hard for about two years now.
Texas was in a drought situation up until the last couple of months. East Texas has had too much rain now. West Texas which is 800 miles away from East Texas did not get as much rain.

Yes, it rained less than 4 inches this year in San Diego and only rained about 5 inches the year before that. Southern CA is in a horrible drought right now, I wish it would rain because it NEVER rains here. But we are kind of use to dry years and droughts and most of our water comes from somewhere else hundreds of miles away.

Yes we have drought here in Wisconsin also. Is not to that extent though. We are several inches behind for the year. Each year we get less and less moisture, including snow. Climate is changing quickly. Watch the news. Many areas of the world are flooding all the time, while others are in a dangerous drought.

I'm in England and there isn't a drought here either, it's not rained hardly for about 4 weeks but we had record breaking rainfall earlier in the summer so the reservoirs are fine for the time being.
I hope you get some rain soon. By the way, where abouts are you?

Yeah ,an extremely undesirable one. i'm come from Zimbabwe in Africa. we've had drought for like 4 years. definitely all human beings is ravenous and my neighbour 's toddler died this morning from starvation . there is not any nutrition because of the fact there is not any rainfall. human beings would desire to trip over one hundred miles to the closest water spot. Its extremely undesirable. Drought!

Wish I could share. Here (Tulsa, Oklahoma, area) my gage measured 5.33 inches of rain the other night in about 5 hours. Needless to say, it caused some problems.
Be care what you wish for, you may get more than you need.

We've had water restrictions last year. It is now Spring and it is presently raining cows and donkeys...Perhaps your people should pray for rain. Anyway everything of the best...Hope you get rain soon.

OK, I live in Southern California, we only had two inches of rain last season, but I think you are getting carried away here.
