They did it to "send a message"...

Call me a bit crazy, but if something like this happened to US or to Israel, we wouldn't be trying to decipher the hidden meaning buried in an unexploded JDAM...

But then again, maybe that's why the Palestinians are constantly firing Katusha rockets into Israel - they are just trying to be communicative. With all the resultant noise, it must be difficult to hear one another.

It seems Neoconservatives obsess over pre-emptive military measures far more than Israelis. At least Israelis show SOME amount of restraint when using force and only when it actually involves defending their own borders unlike neocons, who desire to exert American military might worldwide to accomplish their agenda, regardless of the consequences. Not only that but the Israelis base most of their actions on factual evidence; the neo-cons simply exaggerrate or outright fabricate "intel" as an excuse to go to war.

Syria is like a toothless lion. Israel needs to show some comprimise if it really wants to live in peace. No, not to terrorists like Al Queda and others, but to its neightbours like Syria, who maybe hostile.

In the case of Hizbollah, maybe Israel should show some respect for Lebanon. Don't know why is it that organization exists, even after Lebanon was stable. Should have merged with the Lebanese military. Border disputes is the job of the military, not some militia armed to the teeth.

Fragmented politics is dangerous, especially with those Zionist-Neocon freaks.

Funny how you only see Israel being at fault here. Why is it that the Hezbo's can attack and blow things up and target Israeli citizens, but when Israel strikes back they are doing a pre-emptive strike?

Israel is a valid nation set up after World War 2 by the UN. Its just like Canada, Syria, Iran, Iraq, etc. The middle east doesn't like Israel simply because they have a different religion and they have had several wars over this fact.

Isreal has one of the best trained armies in the world, therefore they can kick some butt. So why are you against them?

The difference is that the Israelis have intelligence that actually bears out as true, be it Iraq nuke facilities decades ago or Syrian transit of arms to Hezbollah for a re-run of last summer.

Neocons simply make shtt up.

What is wrong with striking before you get hit? A lot like if you we would have taken care of these Islamic terrorists after they tried to destroy the WTC buildings in 1993. Than we wouldn't have had our US Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania bombed, the Khobar towers wouldn't have been bombed, the USS Cole wouldn't have been bombed. Innocent people wouldn't be blown up as much by suicide bombings, car bombings or being beheaded. Yeah, too bad the enemy is being attacked before they kill more innocent people.

I think in the future world of "terrorists + nukes", you have to be somewhat preemptive. If the bad guys get in the first punch, you lose a city.

Israelis like the people that makes their rogue entity go for anything illegal, their existance is illegal, by the way the real NEOCONS are Israelis.

It was a warning to Syria to stop supporting Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. Syria is a major supportive of worldwide terrorism and a few warning strikes sound like a good idea.
