You really must read a book. Slavery has always been a dreadful part of the human experience. Slavery still exists today. There are women held in bondage on every continent of the world.

Greed is not an American invention. It exists in the heart of many throughout the world. At the heart of every war is the need to control money, land, and natural resources.

The American people are the most generous people in the world. We give more money per capital -- that's per person -- than any other citizens in the world.

I am an American. Born here.
My mother's family is in Ireland. I frequently go there.
I lived in the UK for three years, in Japan for one year and the Philippines for 1 year. I have travelled many other places.
My wife is a Filipina. My grandmother on my father's side is from Brazil.
I work with people born in Vietnam, India, China, LIbya, Cambodia and Iran every day of the week.

When you want to talk toxic waste, I invite you to take a stroll down the street in Gaochung, Taiwan. You can't see a quarter of a mile for all the pollution, and you have to smoke a cigarette to get a lung full of relatively fresh air.
