it is not age because age does not necessarily bring about maturity. It is not sex because anyone with hormones can engage in it. It is not parenthood because anyone who can have sex can create a child. It is not killing a deer because killing does not teach compassion. It is when a person can take responsibility for their own actions and how their own actions or own inactions impact those and the world around them. It is about taking responsibility and accepting accountability. It is coming to the realization that humans are not the only creatures on the planet nor are they invincible.

when a man is responsible and mature. I've met guys that are 18 and 21 and they still act like little boys so i don't think age has anything to do with it. At least that's my personal view.

I will give you the same answer I gave to Burce Willis, who
had asked: "what makes a real man?"
Any grown boy or man can get a girl pregnant for a child.
But not every man can be a "father" to his child, and a good
husband to the child's mother.
For the women!
Any grown women can get pregnant for a child.
But not every can be a woman can be a "mother" to her child
and a good wife to the child's father.
What makes a man a man, and a women a woman is their
"Maturity." Physically, mentally and phychologically. <}:-})

At the heart of being a man, or a woman, is the acceptance of responsibility for ones actions, the commitment to something greater than you, and the courage to take action when it is appropriate.

I guess that depends on the family, culture, or whomever defines what a man is supposed to be and do. Well, if you are asking me...a man is someone who is mature in his thoughts, actions, and he is responsible whether it's for his family or just himself. Every guy becomes a man... physically but mentally? No...

Killing the first deer (not dear) I hope. With domestic violence the way it is it's hard enough to tell your dear off.
Being a man i9s just an age thing but being a real man that's being and getting done what you want.
