Not necessarily. I never had a bloody show until I was in the hospital. I was induced with one, but with the other my water broke. I didn't have any contractions until after my water broke.

Not necessarily. A lot of women's water doesn't break until after contractions start. And sometimes your water can break well before contractions start on their own, in which case you need to go to the hospital right away. But contractions that have already started do a lot of the time intensify after the water breaks.

I did with all four of mine. I only had the bloody show for real labor, not Braxton hicks.

It's normal to have a bloody show, but not everyone has one.

I didn't have one with either of my children.

Not always. I didn't have my 'show' until I had been in fully (heaving and hoing, gas and air job..lol) fledged labour for 18 hours...sorry. Don't rely on it though. Good luck.
