I use Yasmin. I have gained a few pounds (maybe five), most of it in my boobs. I think it's water weight, though, because the week I'm on the sugar pills I go back down to my normal weight.
In the past I used orthotricyclen. It increased the size of my boobs, but also gave me horrible depression. Both side effects stopped a month after I ceased taking the pill.

It all depends on the suitability of a particular pill on your body. When i was on marvelon, i had no weight gain, no bigger boobs, nothing. But when i changed to the mini pill my weight went skyhigh, my boobs were forever sore and i had a lot of water retention. Came off it and tried depo jab instead which was great, no problems at all. Speak to your gp/family planning clinic about the different side effects. if you dont like the effects of a particular pill, ask them to change it to something else.

Don't think it does anything for your boobs but about the weight it is slightly difficult - if you put on weight and you are on the pill then the pill makes it very difficult to lose it, it won't actually make you put on weight though.

Yeah from personal experience both of these side effects have happened. It seems the type of pill makes weight gain and boob growth get worse. Best thing is to change your diet and try and get a different pill.

Didn't happen to me, in fact I found it quite easy to lose weight after I'd been on it. I noticed an increase in appetite when I first started but that went within a week. As for boobs, no different. But then I suppose it depends on the individual... I wouldn't let it put you off, the benefits are too good!

My personal experience of probably thousands of women going on to the pill is that only a small percentage get either of these side effects. unfortunately it is not possible to predict which women this will be. This is one of the reasons it is important to have a full check up, including weight, when going on to the pill so that you can keep an eye on it.

my boobs got bigger - and i didn't change weight. the only reason you can gain weight is because it increases hunger - you know how it works by tricking the body into thinking its pregnant? well, pregnant women get increased appetite so people on the pill get hungry a bit more often. and if they eat a lot more, they gain weight. i wouldn't worry the weight gain is usually very slight :) its worth it, go for it!

Sometimes, they say that the mix of hormones in the pill can make your appetite increase or make you gain weight. I heard that the new pill Yasmin or Yaz, is not supposed to make you gain weight, and can also keep your moods a little more stable. You can look into it.

I heard that you shouldn't lose too much from breasts unless it's 18 or more kilos. I want to lose weight too, but only about 9 kilos, and I'm 15 too. How much weight did you lose? Also, eat fish. It raises certain hormones. And there's a pressure point between the center of your boobs. If you press it for 5 seconds regularly, it stimulates growth. Hope that helped, and please answer my question!
