Get several age appropriate items-plastic cars, story books, stuffed or plastic animals, etc. at the $ store or Wal-mart and wrap each item individually. Put all of them in a little plastic bucket or truck or something similar and wrap it really brightly also. He's only 2, so he will enjoy the fun of unwrapping as much as the gifts.

1st - decide how much you want to spend.
2nd- go to wallyworld and spend that much on anything you want to give him.
3rd. Wrap it up in a cool box, because a 2 year old does not care about what is inside the box nearly as much as they want to unwrap it.
4. Ask mom and dad if it okay for you to get whatever you are getting, unless the gift is designed to torment mom and dad (like a noisy drum). If you get a noisy gift, do not be shocked to find that it did not make it home or if it gets lost.

Try a Dollar General, Family Dollar, Wal-Mart, KMart. Right now, places are putting things on clearance to bring in Christmas products. The dollar stores are always pretty reasonable on their prices. Good luck:)

Go to a dollar store. It's so easy to buy for a two year old. Crayons, coloring books, matchbox cars, etc. You can literally spend $10 and hit the jackpot.

Yes, the dollar, or 99 cent if you are really poor, store is the place to start. Not only does my grandson, who is almost three, love things from there, he loves shopping there too, just like his older sister.

Toys R Us or Wal-mart. You could just get him a stuffed animal or some action figures, they are relatively cheap.

i'd try toys r us black friday they have great deals actually i'd try a bunch of stores black friday! some cheaper stores that have the same things include walmart, and target and costco. since he's two you don't really have to be worried about him finding out you didn't buy it from a brand name store! and i'm sure the family will be really grateful you remembered!
