Democrats and Republicans are tearing this country apart? Do you believe that we need to finish the fight in order to end this war? Do you believe that we really need another Democrat or Republican as President or should America find a new way?

Yeah, I'm not a Ron Paul fan. I think what we need is someone who will bring both parties together. I'm not either a democrat nor republican.
I believe we should win this war, not bail out, but I think we need to do it quickly.

Delphi- that comment is the type of thing that rips this country apart- on either side of the aisle.

The current 2-party system is beyond repair. Both parties have taken corrution and bribery (yes, that is what a corporate campaign donation REALLY is), to new levels. They do not work for the People. They work to get reelected by passing legislation that benefits their large corporate donors.

Beyond that, the two parties have little to offer the People. All they do is bicker about each other (partisian politics), and blame each other. The system is broke and needs replacing.

Term limits and severly limited campaign donations would help. 2-term limit for Senators, 6 for Representatives. That's it. No corporate or lobbyist or PAC moneys allowed. NONE. Only legal citizens who are eligible to vote are allowed to donate and only up to $2000. That is it.

It's not a question of which party puts someone into office. What this past presidency has taught us is that the people that are elected themselves are to blame for "tearing this country apart." Democrats and republicans have degraded themselves to pure squabbling, and it's ruined both parties. What we need is a president who's willing to get beyond that, and there are some choices in that regard. Read up on the candidates.
Oh, and I don't fully believe all this "Ron Paul" stuff, and you shouldn't either until you read up on his website and fully understand his points. I have, and I'm unconvinced.

I think the absence of balls in congress to end this war and impeach the current neocon administration is tearing this country apart. There will be no end to this war because it is unjustified, please scream BRING OUR TROOPS HOME.
I think it is inevitable that we will have another president who is either Republican or Democrat, there are two really good candidates on both sides RonPaul and Obama.

sounds great. But until the people of this nation wakes up, It will never happen.
Thomas Jefferson once said we need a revolution every ten years.
Of course the Bush fans are going to blame the liberals; when the conservatives are the ones who are most tired of the way he's done.

Ron Paul, I presume?

I am an isolationist, so I was looking forward to having somebody in national prominence who could articulate how important I believe the approach to be.

What I got was Ron Paul.
This guy is an embarrassing fruit loop. He's bouncing off the walls, screaming and carrying on like a nut. He doesn't even have his thoughts in order.
For goodness sake, O'Rielly got him flustered. What would he do under real pressure?
We can't have this guy running the country. Sorry.

I disagree. It is not the parties ripping us apart. It is one administration who put it in the weakminded peoples head. Either you're with us or against us. And called those who were against his ill-fated foreign policies unpatriotic.

I disagree again. You might want to actually take a look at how it all began. I myself many times have stated the Divided we fall. I don't like this anymore than rest of us. What is your suggestion for a fix. I am not going to stand by and agree with war mongering, propagandizing bull that is being fed to us. And they aren't going to back off from their stand either. So what is the answer?

Ron Paul (Republican Texas) is the new way.

There are aspects Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, and Constitutionalists will LOVE in Ron Paul. He is literally a once in a lifetime candidate. The only man running for president who politically lives by the constitution.

People of his own party hate him. I have not herd liberals talking about him, but they will dislike him because he is against massive government.

The two party system is clearly broken. We need a new way and right now Dr. Ron Paul is America's best hope.
