1)dy/dx=(1-y)cosx , y(pi)=2

and

2)dy/dx+ycotx=cosx

I've tried so much with these, but they are getting really messy, and I am getting really strange answers.

For #2)your P(x) is cot x and Q(x) is cos x

that makes .5sin x + C csc x
