There should not have been anyone killed in the World Trade Center Towers because we should never have been attacked.

Muslim terrorism is world wide and is the most dangerous threat that we face in the world today.

The foolish members of the left dismiss the threat of Muslim terrorism. These are the same people whou would have dismissed the threat of Adolf Hitler's NAZI Germany during the 1930's.

The soldiers who died in Iraq do not get a yawn by any stretch of the imagination.

It is a demonstration of how good American soldiers are that there have been so few deaths of our soldiers.

not that 3750 dead in Iraq gets a yawn from me what so ever, but 3000 dead on WTC is different because when we weren't at war, it blind sided everyone... that's why it seems like a bigger deal in the media. With war, killing/death is expected. In NO way am I saying that this is right or that I agree. I'm just trying to run it down for you

I understand what you are saying, but I think I know why, and I am not saying I agree with these reasons either.

- Civilians were killed. Solidiers choose to engage in war.

- The footage of the 3000 at WTC (especially) was seen in dramatic fashion live all around the world. It's seered itself into memory.

-It was on American soil, which hadn't really happened to this degree up to that point.

-It has been hyped by neocons, politicians and others who benefit from the sympathy 911 creates. Simple manipulation really.

-The war dead is being seriously downplayed so that they can carry on a war. Like vietnam.

-The war has been touted as a necessary means to an end. (I really don't agree with this one.. It tries to make the losses seem to be what they call a "sacrifice". They forget what "sacrifices" traditionally are...the killing of innocence to appease a higher power.)

-People are making their careers off of 911 (like mayor Giuliani of that time, and now presidential hopeful).

Apparently the first 3000 causalities did not seem enough deaths under Bush's watch, he needed more... so he send more to be slaughtered.
He missed the days when he was governor signing the executions.
Yes Neocon Zionist logic.

Because the attack happened here on American soil. Bush keeps reminding everyone that "it could happen again" (not like he stopped if from happening in the first place). If he keeps the American people in FEAR then he can proceed with all the crap that he wants. The only way this will change is if the American people rise up against the war.... but that will never happen.

well the reason is that is an hostile attack ON american soil.

But i see you point 3000 people die every day in america and no one gives two shiits about them.

as to 3750 dead in iraq, that nothing to complain about either every one in the army signed up for the army, until there is a draft people need to stop complaining about the war.

Im sick of those people who join the army to get the money and benefits then complain when we go to war and they have to serve...WELL DONT FRIKKEN SIGN UP IF YOU DONT WANNA FIGHT FOR YOUR COUNTRY

They compare to Iraq to WW2 in their lame attempts at trying to make Saddam's Old Regime look like Hitler taking over most of Europe. They are pathetic.

What is in a number?

It was "WHY" they died not how many.

Equally odd is that bin Laden is still alive (whereabouts unknown) and Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11.

Can someone please tell me WTF we are doing in a country that - short of oil interest - means nothing to us?
