Hi i have a friend, who i got on really well with before we broke up for the summer holidays. now that we are back at college (sinior year highschool) he is totally blanking me :/ ...
ill say hi in the corridors or the yard but completely sees past me, and desnt reply to msn,myspace or texts.
I got a female friend ( very attractive) to message him, and he replied in 10mins >< so i know its not to do with tech probs or tht..
I just feel really puzzled and a lil hurt that a buddy" wud be like this.
Advice?

I would confront him. He might have heard a rumor that was not true.

For reasons you may never know, this person has decided not to be your friend any longer. I'm sure you feel hurt, confused, and may want an explanation, but it will only keep you chasing after someone who doesn't want to hang out with you.
I would advise you to become involved with a wider group of people. Just ask people to join you for a quick lunch or something, and you may find out that a lot of people end up liking the same things you do.
Be yourself, that way you won't have to put on an act whenever you're around people. The ones who like you for who/what you are when you're being yourself are the ones you truly want around you...trust me.

Don't take it personally. People come and go and it is too much work trying to make sense of it all. Try to avoid taking on the drama of other folks. You're not responsible for how anyone feels. Get on with your own life. Collect a million friends - people who are strong, independent, creative and have interesting lives based on continued growth. Don't waste time worrying about those who choose not to keep up with you.

The guy doesn't sound very nice. Sounds kind of snobby to me. Move on and don't let it bother you. A guy like that isn't worth the trouble, you kind find better friends out there who won't pretend they don't know you and act like you're invisible. You deserve respect and acknowledgment, you don't need to be treated like that, so find people who are worth calling a friend. Good luck.

Maybe he thinks you did or said something that you really didn't do?
As silly as it is to get other people involved, asked the female friend to try and find out what is going on.
I'm only suggesting it b/c you've tried several times to figure it out and he's not cooperating.

I've seen this happen a lot but I can't really figure out why or what the solution is. Maybe the person feels smothered by your friendship or perhaps feels that he has grown away from you. Sorry to hear about it.

He sounds like a loser if he only wants a "goodlooking" person to talk to. Who knows what goes on in a guys head but I can tell you that other than sex and food not much else is going on up there.

Clearly he isn't a buddy anymore. For whatever reason it doesn't seem like he's interested in being friends anymore. Quit messaging him...makes you look a little desperate.

well i am so sorry that he is treating you that way one or two things..,you are still holding on and he has left ...you must remember that not everyone deserves you..take a step back and say to yours elf do you really need that in your life,,,for every door that closes one opens...find a better friend..obviously you were better to him then he was to you...you are the strong one not him...

erm i dont know much about guy problems but have you tried speaking to another friend of his or have you done anything over the holiday that might upset him?

omg this happens to me alot and i mean ALOT .... but sadly
what always happened they tell me off and not want to be friends with me.. so what you can do right is have your female friend talk to him and have her bring you up in there convo and she can find out what he thinks of you like have her say O you kno that guy and your name and isnt he cool and he give her his answer on what he thinks of you but just see what happened but if it isnt good then
you just going have to let him good..
