It makes them look all clean cut and like they are just a little higher on the pecking order.

I wish us fish guys had a uniform, but sadly, we don't. The only uniform I own is designed for one day a year but I tend to overuse it... It's my birthday uniform.

I think that it is the discipline that it takes to earn the right to wear the uniform more than the uniform itself.

If it was just the uniform then women would be all over the security guards in the mall and I have yet to see that happen. lol

Since WW2 I have been extremely proud of of our Military and the protection they represent.
If you had lived during WW2 you would have much to reflect on. I married my Hubby then and praise God, I still have him.
Men litterly stood in long lines to volunteer in the U.S Military. We stood together. We sacrificed in all kinds of ways & we didn't complain. Our men & women too, in uniform made us proud Americans.~~~~~~~~~~

The steady paycheck. I know guys who wear their Postal Service jackets everywhere and women are all over them.

I work with the 'men in blue' everyday and I will say it is 'animal instinct'...........! Honestly I believe it is mostly respect!
