Let there be x people in Julia's class. 5/7 of x is wearing jeans.That is 5x/7. 2/3 of jeans is 2/3 of 5x/7. 5x/7(2/3) =10x/21. The fraction is 10/21. If you know x, the number of people, multiply it by 10/21.

When multiplying fractions, you don't have to change the denominator. Just multiply the whole thing.
