It came in two sources

1) Was that neighbours had witnessed Madeleine run out of the appartment and into the street, and Kate had to get her, two days before the abduction.

2) The second source was Mrs Fenn who said Madeleine had been crying for an hour and a half the night before, calling for her dad.

I will find sources if you want. the Mrs Fennone is easy to find the other less so.

Even if it was true doesn't give any parent a right to sedate or do anything else to their child.

I know as I have a child with Aspergers and it is hard work but i never ever would do anything to her even when i have been at my most emotionally and physically lowest of lows. I am lucky as there is a lot of people worse of than myself and my daughter and have a lot worst disabilities than my little girl.

I have not heard if Maddie had nay behaviour problems tho only that she wasn't very co operative going to bed like any normal toddler! Could explain the sedation rumours if she was being mischievous and they were wanting to go out to dinner!!!!!

There is this dreadful story circulating that a catholic priest told the McCanns a couple of years ago that her eye defect was a 'sign of satan'.

Being deeply religious people could they have killed her because of that?

Surely not! This is not the middle ages anymore.

However, given the backward and superstitious beliefs of some people we just don't know.

I don't believe there is proof she was any more difficult than any other 3 year old.

If you want my opinion though, Gerry and Kate clearly are not good parents, and I bet anything that Madeleine grew up as a little princess (as evidenced by her proclaiming 'My name is not Maddy. Its Madeleine' and the McCanns saying that M would be giving her captors ' a piece of her mind')

This poor parenting probably contributed to her having more behavioural problems than the average 3 year old.

Just MHO (but a lot of people respect it lol)

I have a 4 year old son and every day i think he has behaviour problems - but so what. I don't see the relevance - only that it pushed the parents to the edge - but hey, isn't that part of being a parent. I wouldn't want my son to be any other way x

Unless one of the people answering is a relative of Maddie then you won't get a real good answer, do you know if they are on Yahoo.

it was reported that she gave a bit of trouble when it was time to go to bed. the day before she went missing she hid in the garden next to their apartment for 30 mins because she was not ready to go to bed.
