Thousands - The correct Roman numeral for 1,000 is M. I am not sure where the "K" originated, but it is in every day use to indicate x thousands of dollars - as in 25K for twenty-five thousand dollars.

means cash, or would also be considered if you have that much in a 401k, or if you have like a yacht that you own outright. if you have that much in stock, bonds. also another could be if you have an equity line of credit for that amount. Cash money, or in your bank checking/savings account.
