Are the new AM2 processors better than the 939s?

if so, in what ways?

Dual cores are available in either 939 or AM2, and neither are for laptops, just to clean up those first two answers. The only difference is RAM, the 939 supports DDR only, the AM2 supports DDR2 only. DDR2 is faster than DDR.
