Freedom isn't free, that is right. Freedom is a constant fight to get politicians to REMEMBER or even ACKNOWLEDGE the constitution.

Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius-and a lot of courage-to move in the opposite direction. Albert Einstein
Aside from this. I find your post ridiculous but stand by your right to be so. Bush has done more damage then your ilk are able to admit. Oh and again for those that still don't understand. 9/11 and Iraq are 2 different issues. When will you get that?

Some things are free. Some things are not...who are you to decide what constitutes something as being "free".
I don't think anything is really free, there is always baggage attached to everything IMO. I don't think liberals think freedom is free and I would challenge you to post a link to a credible source quoting a "liberal" as saying this.
Also, the solution to getting people to like you is to not keep on fighting against them. When does that ever work?
Think about it....let's say you know a girl who doesn't like you. Now in order for you to get her to like you, would you begin by insulting her, pushing her, making up lies about her, and just pissing her off even more in general even after she already told you what she DIDNT like about you?????
Of course not!!! So why must we keep going the isolationist route of just doing what we want to do without listening to those people who don't like us??? How will that somehow make things right?? I't won't.

Why is it that if one disagrees with your narrow viewpoint they somehow don't understand freedom or are unpatriotic?
Democracy thrives on dissent and difference of opinion. You seem to advocate unquestioned obedience to fearless leader. That reeks of tyrany.
You also can't see past your narrow mind because you obviously don't understand the people (Most of America) are not objecting to going after Bin Laden and Al Qaeda but the war in Iraq. That war was one started of false assumptions made by false intellegence which no one in the Administration bothered to follow up on. It accomplished what they wanted an excuse to go to war against Saddam Hussein because he threatened the life of Dubya's daddy. Our soldiers aren't in Iraq defending us. They never were. Iraq was never a threat to us. Some day you jingoists will learn that most of the world and especially in the US do not agree with you. I know it is hard for you to believe but it is entirely possible for you to be, shall I dare say it, okay here goes, WRONG.
You post as if no one else on this board is a veteran or is currently serving and if so how they could possibly disagree with your narrow views. Well, I am a veteran of the Vietnam era and I proudly disagree with you. I am sure there are plenty of others.
But you just carry on with your diatribe and let the rest of us laugh at how silly you look. Thanks for making my day, you fool.

Actually, our freedom is quite free. For Americans, freedom is a birthright. It's been sixty years since any American had to fight to potentially protect out freedom, and nearly 200 years since there was a direct threat against us. Those who hate us today do not have the capability to destroy us, so we do not actually have to fight to survive.

Well isn't this the most perverted, sick, twisted view of democracy to yet appear on Yahoo!
So you'd like us to be quiet slaves to government policy, and raise our little arms in salute in the midst of a useless war, vile and stinking corruption in Iraq, and horrendous foreign policy?
People don't hate "us". They hate our government, and I don't blame them. It doesn't justify such violence as 9-11, but believe me, we've killed the innocent and continue to do so.
I think you are a sorry and deluded individual. You should be a slave if you don't have the guts to protest against your government.
Believe me, no American blood was spilled in your behalf...far from it.

Cry me a river. Neo-cons begged for tax cuts versus funding the lie-based Iraq war. Apparently they believe that wars are free.

Washington Post, 9/17/01, UPI: Bush said he wants accused terrorist leader Osama bin Laden "dead or alive.” “I want justice...There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'"- G.W. Bush, 9/17/01, UPI
AP, 12/14/01: President Bush pledged anew Friday that Osama bin Laden will be taken "dead or alive."

Capturing OBL no longer a priority:
G.W. Bush, 3/13/02: I don't know where Bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
