The Broncos!! The Chargers are just lucky. You shut down LDT and you shut down the Chargers.
(I refuse to call him LT, there was only ONE LT and that was Lawrence Taylor, and San Diego's little boy toy running back deserves no mention along with those two initials.)
The Broncos have more than one weapon on there team.

Assuming your talking about this season San Diego is 10 times better this year than the Broncos. If you are talking about historically the Broncos by a long way.

Realistically the Chargers probably have the edge as far as talent goes.
Chargers:
Slightly better running game
Better all around D
Better Special Teams
Broncos:
Much better coaching
Slightly better passing game
Superior Defensive Secondary
In conclusion....the Chargers might be the better team on paper, but the Broncos are going to beat them twice this year.

San Diego looked better in week 1, but it is still too early. Thankfully, the NFL does not depend on a top 25 rankings system
We will see how good the Chargers are after they play the Patriots next week!

Being a life long Denver Broncos fan, I refuse to answer the Chargers even though they have a beter running game, passing game, and D-line (Den's secondary is better though, yaaay Champ Bailey!).
Therefore I will answer the question assuming you meant not in terms of this season, but in terms of a franchise:
DEN has won the Super Bowl twice, SD never has. DEN has won the AFC title six times, SD only once. DEN has won the AFC West title 10 tens, SD only 7. And of ocurse DEN sported the greatest single team of all time in 1998 with Elway, Davis, Sharpe, Smith, McCaffery, and a defense that wasn't afraid to take chances (cause that offense could score!)
So Denver, of course.

SD Chargers are the better team. They managed to beat the best defense in the NFL, while the Broncos needed a last second field goal to beat the injury-depleted Bills defense (by one point).
BTW - Please say a prayer for Bills TE Kevin Everett.

Chargers have the better players
Broncos have better coaches
Patriots won 3 Superbowls largely due to having superior coaches. They didn't have the superior players. They executed a well thought out game plan.
