Never actually hitchhiked myself, but I did get lost at a Widespread show and somehow ended up in a van full of hippies. Good times

particular. a chum and that i hitchhiked allot, from Alabama, to New Jersey in 1956, from Texas to Oklahoma, From Selma Alabama to Mongomery Ala., in simple terms to call some. yet those have been extra perfect circumstances and hitchhiking grew to become into allot safer. We never apprehensive approximately some thing going on. needless to say, we are adult men and have been interior the USAF.

Natalie, you must of been drunk? I have hitchhiked from Bangor, Maine to Boston, MAss. and back to Bangor! I hitched hiked from Missouri to Alabama once too, then some miner hitchhiking in between! Thanks and have a good night! Jimmy.

Back in the 60s and 70s it was the only way to travel.
Either there weren't as many crazies or we just never knew about them.
Either way I survived it.
