There was only one female ninja turtle from the TMNT: The Next Generation TV series called Venus de Milo. The writers of the show changed the origin of the TMNTs a little bit in order to introduce her to the show. It was "revealed" that there were actually five turtles that had gotten covered in ooze, but Splinter missed the fifth one. Venus emerged in Chinatown where she was adopted by a Japanese man that took her back to Japan and trained her in karate. Venus eventually returned to New York and ran into the other turtles and joined them.

One of the original creators of the TMNTs (Peter Laird) purchased the rights to his creations. He absolutely hated that a female ninja turtle was created, so after he took over the rights to the turtles he vowed that nobody would even be allowed to mention the fact that Venus ever even existed.

Here is a quote from an interview with the director of the TMNT movie's director about the rules that Peter Laird gave him regarding Venus de Milo:

"There’s absolutely no mention of Venus de Milo, the female Turtle. You can’t even joke about that with Peter. It’s just one of those things that he hates with a passion."

the only female turtle i can remember is Venus from The Next Mutation series and due to poor fan reactions of the character and failure of the series they stopped using elements from that show in later ninja turtle shows. Female ninja turtles is so stupid nad her inclusion in the story and the absence of shredder was pretty much the reason it failed, even the makers of ninja turtles didnt like the female turtle idea but it was said that Fox and Saban companies forced them into adding her.

There was only one girl ninja turtle, Venus DeMilo and she only appeared in the live action tv show of the last 90's early 2000's.

According to the creators she is not canon, so she doesn't count. I think her bandana was pink or light blue,

What have you been watching all these years? There were NEVER, and i repeat NEVER any girl ninja turtles! There were four of them, all dudes, and they had one of the best cartoons out of the 90's, the games for Nintendo (the original one) were off the chain, and i saw the first two movies and they were kinda nice. You can type it in a search engine and go to it. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

They were a lame add-on to the original "party dudes" in an attempt to capture the interest of the young female market.

Needless to say, it didn't take.

Well most of them got older and decided to start a family, Donatello was actually thought to be the father of one of the children but unfortunately the DNA proved that he was not the father.
