Saturday i saw a man holding a sign outside wal mart saying I'm Hungry
i wwent in bought him a sandwich, adn on my way leaving , i gave it to him, adn his look of gratitude and saying thank you God Bless you warmed my heart, you did a good deed, so feel good, your heart was in the right place, don't change :)

Because I have had that same concern before, I have often taken Penny's approach & given food instead of money. But to answer YOUR question, you did unto others as you would have others do unto you, so you did the right thing. He is accountable for his actions, NOT you! If it bothers your conscience, wheneever possible offer food instead of money. Those who REALLY want food will be grateful & those who don't...well that's their problem, you've done your part!
