I had a '96 Chevy S-10 I bought new and traded it in just over three years later with over 175,000 miles on it. Trouble-free the entire time. I got 148,590 miles on the original tires, rotating them only once at 80,000 miles (Uniroyal Tiger Paw's).
It was mostly highway miles as I drove 83 miles each way to work for 4years.
