This site does have a lot of trolls, but I have had two instances where I asked a legitimate question and someone who simply could not accept someone else's opinion got really upset. Everyone is entitled to respond how they wish, however, it makes me mad when they become angry to the point to where they attack the person themselves and not the question.
Has this happened to you and how did you respond?

Had it happen. I attacked them out in the open. They came back and attacked me to the point of me losing almost everything. I did get them suspended. But that never stops them.

Yes, I have, and at that time I was having trouble with the avatar so the attacker, thinking I was male, was accusing me of being all manner of feminine things. After awhile, that tickled me and I concluded I don't make a very good man.
I tried reasoning with him by private email but that didn't work. We finally just ceased the conversation.

I generally ignore their anwers. Trolls have the intelligence of a fish. No wait that's harsh on my goldfish. Answering trolls questions is another case though.

I've seen that a lot in other sections. If you respond to anger in any way, it will only make things worse. Ignore insensible comments.

I ignore them...actually someone reported one of the twits that answered a question of mine....so don't worry, there's still alot of people on here who will back you up.

Preppi Bi appearantly doesn't like me very much, not sure why, but i just ignore them until they send e-mails. I have a hard time then being nice, so I just become as vicious as they are. not very nice, but they deserve it.
