The band of gold is supposed to removed and put on the other hand. It is a sign of divorce. I don't think I would wear the gold band alone but my engagement/wedding ring is so banging I'll always wear it. I would probably have the diamonds reset with some emeralds and sapphires into a more appropriate ring. Something I would be proud to wear everyday. I don't see that happening. After 20 years of marriage I am still as crazy in love as I was when I met him Gross isn't it!!!!! I love it!!!

No I don't take my wedding ring off when out on the town and never have done. I don't know what I would do if divorced or separated but imagine I would only do it if a new relationship became permanent.

Your spouse continues to be wearing the engagement ring because of the fact she needs different adult adult males to comprehend that she continues to be taken and is not any longer involved. She is thinking a reconcilliation and via wearing yet another ring in determination to her wedding ceremony band ability that she is getting closer to making a determination and is thinking putting her wedding ceremony ring back on.

Married - always wear it when I/we to out! At work - can not wear ring because Gold is an electrical conductor- first day at new job in shop, supervisor told us to take off wedding rings, so do not wear at work. Told my loving wife in a joker's mood - "What God puts together - only supervisor can take apart." I always "toe the line" at work, because people respect the fact that they know I have a loving wife at home.............

First one -I kept wearing a wedding ring while my children were small, then stopped. Second one - threw at his best mate for him to wear cos he saw more of him, and vowed I would never wear another. If I want to wear a ring now then I buy it and wear it on any finger I wish.

I'M DIVORCED BUT WHEN I WAS MARRIED I WOULD NEVER HAVE TAKEN MY WEDDING RING OFF ON A NIGHT OUT. AS SOON AS I REALISED I DIDN'T LOVE MY EX HUSBAND I STOPPED WEARING MY WEDDING RING. TO ME IT IS A SYMBOL OF LOVE.

Why would I take it off when I went out on the town???
Not all married people want to have sex as soon as they get a moment away from their partner.

From the second he slips that ring on my finger til the day I die it will not come off
he's right, we've been through so much already, that marriage will be a "doddle" as he puts it
Since we've both learnt our lessons........we know a good thing when it comes along!
