Actually being unkind is not necessarily a trait of evil people. Being evil is a conscious action and intentional and does seem to require a depth of intelligence. But anyone can be unkind. A trait that I think evil people and unkind have in common is insecurity. Secure intelligent people and not so intelligent people generally have the capacity to be kind because they don't look at people around them as "others" or "thems". They have more of the ability to empathize and see themselves in others peoples shoes.

These are two completely different questions. Evil is a term used to describe various levels of imperection in the world. It's existence requires a perceiver to make the assesment that something is evil, and that perceiver must be intelligent (on a very basic level at least) to make that assesment.

Kind people are not necessarily naive or less intelligent. In fact, I think the opposite might be true in many circumstances. Intelligence and ones disposition to their peers should not go hand in hand I don't think. Although the most sophisticated (and successful) communities of mammals are "kind" to one another. Namely apes, monkeys, dolphins, and humans. So, perhaps kindness and intelligence, or at least success in nature are somehow related.

No, kind people care about the well being of others so much to the point that they are willing to do almost anything to help them. Those that take advantage of kind people are the ones that lack intelligence because they don't realize the beauty and benefits in associating and building long lasting relationships with people like that. Those are the people you should associate with because those are the people that are going to be there for you and help you when you need help.

No. Intelligent people can be good or evil just like everyone else. It is a lack or conformance to societal norms that makes a person evil. It could possibly be a lack of or chemical imbalance that causes them to no care for the well being of others, but some evil people can be more intelligent.

Only intelligent people are capable of real evil or real good.

If you mindlessly cause some one harm is it evil? Maybe a little bit but if you deliberately plan out that same act regardless of the harmful consciences to others, that same act becomes more evil on our evil scale. Same could be said about a good act.

Side note: There is no good and evil only you and me, us and them.

Another thing sort of an oxymoron here but “ignorance is no excuse”.

Not at all. There are a lot of stupid evil people and a lot of kind intelligent ones. I think there's little or no connection.

No, not to me. Nice guys finish last is what I've always heard though. It's because a lot of people mistake kindness for weakness, and that is not true. Nice people get crapped on a lot because they give people a chance, not because they are too stupid to know better. Evil people are smart and cunning to get what they want, but they lack feeling.

Is not that evil is associated with inteligence, but evil people that are inteligent can cause more harm than a stupid evil person. With inteligence comes power over other people, and if you're evil you can make a lot of people miserable.
